Service outage at the Greece Italy interconnection

Due to a technical fault the Greece Italy interconnection is out of service. It is not possible to estimate at this moment service resumption time. As a result daily auctions between Greece and Italy for delivery date 15/8 have been cancelled. Long term rights nominated for the same period are firm as to auctions rules. After consultation with TERNA Long Term capacity rights for delivery date 16/8 have benn curtailed. Further information regarding Daily Auctions with delivery date 16/8 will be provided tomorrow morning.
