NTC REDUCTION ON GREECE-ITALY INTERCONNECTION

TERNA and ADMIE inform market participants that on Friday 2^nd August the HVDC cable on the Italian-Greek interconnection will be back in operation.

Taking into account the repeated forced outages occurred last months, further investigations are in progress in order to check the link full reliability. To perform these investigations it is necessary to temporary limit the maximum power transmissible to 200MW. Therefore, the NTC on the Italian-Greek interconnection will be temporarily set to 200 MW in both directions.

TERNA and ADMIE will promptly inform the market participants regarding the restoration of the HDVC cable at the normal operating conditions.
