CAPACITY AVAILABILITY AT GREECE-ITALY INTERCONNECTION FOR 2014

The extraordinary renewal action on the link between Italy and Greece, needed to increase the yearly reliability ratio and to restore the full capacity of the cable, has been scheduled from the beginning of January 2014 till to the middle of July 2014. Thus no capacity will be allocated on a yearly basis on the Italy-Greece interconnection for the year 2014, but allocation will be carried out on a monthly and daily basis once the link is back in operation. Terna and ADMIE will do their best to keep the market participants duly and timely informed through their web sites about the evolution of the activities for restoring the full capacity of the link and more in general about all those information which can be relevant for market participa nts.
