RGI

The Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) is a European platform for cooperation between electricity transmission system operators and non-governmental organizations, aimed at promoting sustainable electricity grid development. Its activities focus on the integration of renewable energy sources, environmental protection and biodiversity, as well as strengthening transparency and local community participation in the planning and development of energy infrastructure.

IPTO has been a member of RGI since 2025, participating in a European partnership that connects electricity grid development with environmental protection and social acceptance. This participation strengthens the exchange of expertise and best practices for the sustainable development of electricity transmission infrastructure.
