GO15

The Association of Very Large Power Grid Operators (GO15) brings together operators serving more than half of global electricity demand. Established in 2004, it aims to strengthen international cooperation and the exchange of expertise to ensure the secure, reliable and sustainable operation of electricity systems. Its activities focus on grid security and resilience, the integration of renewable energy sources and addressing the technological and operational challenges of the energy transition.

IPTO has been a member of GO15 since 2025, expanding its international presence and cooperation with major grid operators worldwide. Through its membership, IPTO shares expertise and best practices in key aspects of electricity network operation and development, while helping to shape the international dialogue on the future of electricity systems.
