CAPE attended the Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Conference of Greece (ECESCON) 2026

IPTO actively participated in the ECESCON conference, where it presented the European research project CAPE and the latest developments related to the digitalization of energy infrastructures.

During the conference, IPTO had the opportunity to engage with young engineers, present its profile and activities, and participate in a dedicated workshop titled “Digitalizing the Energy System: Markets, Flexibility, and Grid Intelligence”. Within the framework of the workshop, selected research projects in which the R&D division (DRTD) participates were presented, including Crete Valley, THEUS, SINNOGENES, HEDGE-IoT, TwinEU, UNITY-6G, and CAPE.

The presentation focused on CAPE applications in the field of “smart grids”, aiming to improve monitoring, analysis, and real-time decision-making. Through the use of modern technologies, the project contributes to enhancing the reliability and resilience of energy systems.

Participation in the conference provided an important opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience with the scientific community, as well as for the dissemination of the project. At the same time, it strengthened collaboration with other stakeholders and highlighted the importance of innovation and digital transformation in the energy sector.
