ENORASIS
Project Description
The development of the "ENORASI" system provides the possibility for automated inspection of an (Extra) High Voltage Substation (EHVS), using an optical and thermal camera system which are installed on an autonomously moving robotic vehicle. The proposed system will allow the supervision of the key electrical elements of the Substation, performing reliable, frequent, and fully automated periodic measurements.
IPTO participates in this project by contributing to the recording of the Operator's needs, the description of the use case scenarios, the functional and technical specifications as well as the architecture of the system. At the same time, it participates in the annotation of the digital data that will be used by machine learning software to identify electrical equipment and its deterioration or damage. The Research Project is implemented in collaboration with ICCS of National Technical University of Athens, among others, while the pilot tests of the "ENORASI" system will be carried out at the Pallini EHVS.
This project is carried out within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the call RESEARCH-CREATE-INNOVATE (Implementation body: MIA RI) http://greece20.gov.gr/
