The paper conducted in the framework of Crete Valley project from IPTO team was presented successfully on 18/7/2025 at the EEEIC Conference, that took place in Chania, Crete. The paper is entitled “Active Power Losses in the Crete-Peloponnese Subsea HVAC Interconnection: Insights from One-Year Measurements”. The results highlight the high energy performance of the HVAC interconnection between Crete and Peloponnese and constitute a first step of the operational analysis for the transition towards a sustainable electrical power system in Crete Island.
