Transitional provisions in accordance with article 27.1, par. 2 of the Balancing Market Rulebook

On Friday, September 5, 2025, the changes concerning the transitional provisions, in accordance with article 27.1, par. 2 of the Balancing Market Rulebook, are scheduled to be implemented on the settlement platform (BaSE+). Therefore, during the corrective settlement of the week 14/7/2025 - 20/7/2025 and more specifically for the period starting on July 18, 2025 until the official verification of technical readiness (implementation of the final provisions) of the Operators, in Imbalance Settlement Periods during which Curtailment Orders have been issued, for the calculation of the Imbalance Price (article 19.6, par. 1 of the Balancing Market Rulebook), the System imbalance will be considered to be above +25MW. These changes will also be included in the results of the initial settlement of the week 1/9/2025 – 7/9/2025 which will be announced next week.
