The new Board of Directors of IPTO was established

The Independent Power Transmission Operator announces that, following the decision of the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of 31.05.2022, the new Board of Directors of the Company met today and was established as follows: 

Manousos Manousakis of Georgios, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO

Ioannis Margaris of Dionysios, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors

Dong Chen of Zhijian, Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO

Ioannis Karampelas of Dimitrios, Member of the Board of Directors

Yunpeng He of Jin, Member of the Board of Directors

Wang Yuanhang of Shaoquan, Member of the Board of Directors

Stavros Ignatiadis of Emmanouil, Member of the Board of Directors

Antonios Aspras of Emmanouil, Member of the Board of Directors

Fotios Nikolopoulos of Dimitrios, Member of the Board of Directors and Employee Representative

The new members appointed to the Board of Directors are Mr. Ioannis Karampelas and Mr. Wang Yuanhang (brief CVs can be found below).
It is noted that the term of office of the outgoing Members of the Board of Directors, Mr. Hong Li and Mr. Iasonas Roussopoulos ended on 31.05.2022.

The term of office of the new Board of Directors is for three years and expires on 31.05.2025. 

Brief CV of Mr. Ioannis Karampelas

Mr. Ioannis Karampelas is an Economist, holder of a BA in Management and Marketing from the Middlesex University, London, and a MA in International Economics and Management from the SDA BOCCONI University, Milan.

From 1998 to 2000 he was Investment Portfolio Manager at the Alternative Stock Exchange, while from 2000 to 2005 he was the General Manager of DACAR SA. From 2012 to 2015 he was elected Member of Parliament of Viotia, while since 2015 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of public limited companies. In 2021, he was elected a member of the Board of Directors of ADMIE HOLDING S.A. and holds the position of CEO until today. 

Brief CV of Mr. Wang Yuanhang

Mr. Wang Yuanhang holds a bachelor’s degree in Automation Electrical Engineering from the North China Electric Power University, is a graduate of the Law School and also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Shanxi University. From 1999 to 2009 he worked at State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Company, while from 2009 to 2011 he was Deputy Director of the Development and Strategy Department of State Grid International Development Co. 

From 2011 to 2018 he held managerial positions in the Operations and Maintenance as well as in the Strategy and Development branches of State Grid Brazil Holding SA. From 2019 to May 2022 he was the head of International Operations of State Grid International Development Co.
