Following an article in the Sunday Press regarding the assignment of works of the "Eastern Corridor" 400 kV of the Peloponnese to the company "MAST ENERGJI LTD.STI", IPTO clarifies the following:
a. Based on the procedures provided for the assignments of the Operator’s projects, the contractor company ATERMON submitted a request to IPTO for approval of the company "MAST ENERGJI LTD.STI" as a Subcontractor for the wiring works of the overhead transmission line 400 kV Megalopoli – Korinthos.
b. IPTO rejected the Contractor's request due to non-fulfillment of the criteria provided in the contract signed between the two parties. Therefore, the Subcontractor "MAST ENERGJI LTD.STI" was deemed inadmissible to undertake these works, a fact of which the Contractor was informed in writing on 12/10/2020 by the Company.
c. In all projects assigned by the Administrator, the procedures required by Law are observed. Specifically for subcontracting, the conditions for the approval of Subcontractors are the same for all companies selected by the Contractors regardless of the country of origin. For countries outside the European Union, additional supporting documents are required such as entry visas etc. as provided by national legislation.
