IPTO informs the Participants that within the second half of February 2025, the simulation tests of the productive operation (Simulation Integration Tests or SIT) with the European platform "PICASSO" will begin. These tests are performed without the participation of the Market Participants. In parallel, the Participants have already been given the opportunity to access the trial information system for the conversion of energy offers for automatic FRR (aFRR) into standardized products for participation in the "PICASSO" platform and the conduct of tests for their familiarization with its use has been scheduled.
Upon successful completion of the tests and with the provision that RAAEY concludes that the conditions of its decision number E-245/2024 (Government Gazette B’ 7039/20-12-2024) are met, IPTO schedules its operational integration to the European PICASSO platform on 18.3.2025. In accordance with the above decision, for the information of the Participants of the Electricity Markets of Law 4425/2016, an announcement will be issued by RAAEY on its official website, by which:
(a) RAAEY will ascertain the technical readiness of IPTO for its integration to the European platform “PICASSO”, and
(b) the date of entry into force of the corresponding provisions of the Balancing Market Rulebook will be announced.
