Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) presents the new application "IPTO Analytics" for portable devices, which provides real-time data of the Hellenic Electricity Transmission System, in an intelligible and comprehensible manner.
Through real-time interactive graphs and maps, IPTO Analytics application provides citizens with instant information on important parameters of the electrical system, such as the total load (forecast and actual electricity demand), the production mix and the interconnections balance with neighboring countries (imports-exports).
With this new digital communication channel, IPTO takes another decisive step towards energy democracy and transparency, providing open data on the transmission of electrical energy in our country. In this way, the Operator contributes to a more complete knowledge and awareness of the citizens regarding the response to climate change as well as the progress of energy transition while actively contributes to the digital transformation of the energy sector.
IPTO Analytics is the second mobile application developed by IPTO, after IPTO Codes which includes basic texts of the regulatory framework for the markets that fall under the Operator’s responsibility.
